i'm a big fan of How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love the Block, I hate panels, and my best 'compromise' for overall simplity's sake, has been to use context for region management and blocks for block management.

It would be fantastic if this module could indicate which regions were under context control so that editor admins could not freak out when any block management they do didn't work.

Would that be a biggie?

Under this module, it probably wouldn't be best, but there is a pretty great module now called Context List Active that does a great job at showing what Contexts are active on any given page.
