default jquery.js

hi,

i want to serve jquery.js from a js folder at the theme level but can't figure out how. i have scripts[] = js/jquery.js in my theme's info file but when i look at page source jquery.js is being called twice. i am using bh_bootstrap as a base theme which is why the jquery_update version of jqeury.js is being called. i have looked through template.php and can't find any reference to how jquery.js is being called so i can modify it. any suggestions? thanks. kevin
