hi gordon - as part of the git migration, we're going to be implementing a number of jobqueues, and have settled on beanstalkd as the backend we want for most of them. i/we haven't done an assessment of this module yet, but i wanted to give you an advance heads-up that we're looking at it and seeing if it matches with our needs. if it does, we'll want to shephard it to full release and through a security review as quickly as possible. we also have someone - justinrandell - who's set to work on this problem starting next week, so if we do end up wanting to use your code, would you be open to granting him co-maintainership so he can blow through the work quickly? i only ask because he's already pretty well up to speed on our requirements.

and yeah, this is all going to be happening quite quickly - we'll be needing this inside the next couple weeks, ideally before Jan 10. sorry for the late notice, this piece only recently really got definitively figured out :(
