Timeframe / roadmap for D8

We do not have a firm timeline at this point - it is of course possible to interact directly with the core BAT library directly from Drupal 8 today. We will likely not consider even starting a D8 branch (or accepting a PR for that matter) before we have a couple stable releases of the D7 version under our belt.

Update: we are actively working on a port this week and hope to have a preview release soon.

When should the Drupal 8 integration be ready? Is there an alpha version, where we can help testing?

Our timeline has been set back a bit and we are hoping for an alpha release no later than the end of November.

I'm afraid there's no update/timeframe to share at this point - as always we're hoping to update the module for D8, but it depends on finding funding for our time.

@Tim Corkerton - there's no specific documentation, you would need to bring in the library with composer (see https://packagist.org/packages/roomify/bat) and interact with it directly (https://github.com/roomify/bat#usage)

Good news, we are now on the 3rd beta of BAT for D8 - please test!

Very good news, Drupal 8 need a module like this; as soon I`ll have some time I`ll make some tests.
