Readiness check says cweagans/composer-patches is not supported

Hello,

We wanted to test automatic updates. I tried version 4.1.0 on drupal 11.3.11 and readiness check says cweagans/composer-patches is unsupported composer plugin.

I don't see any issue about it, I have found issues about supporting composer-patches so I don't know why readiness check is complaining? I have read the help page at /admin/help/package_manager and it does not say that we should remove composer-patches. I did however update it to latest version 2.0.

Is this really not supported or is a readiness check bug? Is there something I should configure?

otherwise if I remove composer-patches readiness check pass and we are able to update the website. Here we had no core patches but we have sites requiring core patches so it would be nice to be able to keep composer-patches.
