Problem/Motivation
When I logged into my site, it produced an error:
Error message
Your site does not pass some readiness checks for automatic updates. It cannot be automatically updated until further action is performed.
Failed to run process: <em class="placeholder">The command "'/opt/alt/php83/usr/bin/php' '/usr/local/bin/composer' 'validate' '--check-lock' '--no-check-publish' '--with-dependencies' '--no-ansi' '--working-dir=/home/mysite'" failed. Exit Code: 1(General error) Working directory: /home/mysite Output: ================ Error Output: ================ In PluginManager.php line 798: symfony/runtime contains a Composer plugin which is blocked by your allow-p lugins config. You may add it to the list if you consider it safe. You can run "composer config --no-plugins allow-plugins.symfony/runtime [tr ue|false]" to enable it (true) or disable it explicitly and suppress this e xception (false) See https://getcomposer.org/allow-plugins validate [--no-check-all] [--check-lock] [--no-check-lock] [--no-check-publish] [--no-check-version] [-A|--with-dependencies] [--strict] [--] [<file>] </em>
(yes, the ' is what I see)
I added symfony/runtime to the allowed modules in composer.config, and updated my Drupal 11.3.13 site first to 11.3.16, then 11.4.4. I have cleared the caches, and manually checked for updates. However, the above error remains at /admin/modules.
