is there a possibility to create links of the attached files to allow downloads?

Ok, just made a simple hack at audiofield_formater.inc and appended this line to my preferred audio player:

<a href="' . $base_path . $element['#item']['filepath'] . '">Download ' . $element['#item']['filename']. '</a>'
