Could I ask if you would consider adding a feature that would allow content provider roles to record audio directly when the page is created and store it in this field?
My use case is a taecher creating a spelling test and with each spelling there would be a play button clicking it would hear the teacher say something like "tractor... Tractor..." and a text box next to this would let the pupil type this in.
If your module can't do this could you recommend one that does? Thanks

This module is for converting the audio from wav to mp3 format. What you are looking for is actually AudioRecorderdField: http://drupal.org/project/audiorecorderfield
