Hello,

Sorry it took me so long to get around to this. I suppose this is also a UI feature request.

It would be great if an option for playlist management per-user were integrated into audio.module. I.E., as opposed to a node-only display of each track, a collective display of all tracks uploaded by a given user in one mp3 player, with the code in place to create, update, edit and delete a playlist (in the background).

I have a simple version of this functionality working on one of my sites, but I know it can be done better and more efficiently.

Thus is IMO one of the better modules I have worked with, and was easy to (poorly) extend as it works so similarly to image.module. Since the code itelf was so familar, it made it far easier to customize to me needs. This addition would be a welcome one.

I am working on the case study in conjunction with a friend.

Thanks,

Colin is working on a separate playlist module -- playlists-as-nodes, meaning that they can be owned by users, rated, etc. etc.

As Boris said, the playlist module should be used for that.
