Attribution & Licensing

The Attribution module provides content attribution and license configuration for the site and for any fieldable entity as e.g. nodes and media. It provides a set of default licenses and allows for import of additional licenses from the list of SPDX license list and custom defined licenses.

The module provides

• A field type for usage with all fieldable entities
• Multiple field formatters from plain text to preformatted creative commons icons
• An configurable attribution and copyright block to be placed e.g. in the site's footer or sidebar
• Embedding via media library is supported
• Defined licenses are exportable configuration

The list of licenses includes more than 400 licenses including the various flavors and versions of the Creative Commons and of course the GNU General Public License.
