On the Asset Wizard, I press the Upload icon, browse to my file and hit next. I then get a message "Error uploading file". There are no Drupal error log messages. How do I debug this problem.

Are you able to upload files using the core upload modules? Is your files directory correctly set up? Do you get an error in your apache's error log, or in Drupal's watchdog perhaps?

User error, of course. php.ini upload limits set too low to allow much of anything.
