Thanks for a very useful module. However this is the first module that I want to install that comes with a separate install program. How do I start that? The full path? Is www.example.com/annotate.install.php enough? Or is it just as good to execute the query in the install.txt file.
Thanks
Theo Richel

theorichel commentedWell apparently it goes automatically since I found a table annotations. A few remarks though:
* apparently this table is put in without taking db-prefixes into account. I fixed it manually. A warning in the install.txt would be nice
* the code in the install.txt gave errors when I tried to execute the sql. Had to do with one of the characters at the end
* this table (in the install.txt) is called 'annotate' wheras elsewhere it is called ' annotations'
It works fine now.

clemens.tolboomI intend to get rid of this file. It's confusing and not the drupal way. For the die hards there is always annotation.install.
So just activate the module through the modules admin page would install the annotation module correctly.
It is confusing to have a dev version because that allways contains the latest version. So please use the latest download. Hope the make a normal release this week.
Regards, Clemens

clemens.tolboomThe file is deleted now. For cracks there is always the annotate.install file.
