dhruv panchal commentedHello,
It is easy to install amp library using composer. Please see below steps:-
Step 1:- Go to root directory in Linux and follow following step.
-----------------------------Command to install composer--------------------------------------------
apt install composer
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 2:- After composer installed then go to root directory of your drupal 8 folder like /var/www/html/drupal-8/ . Here yo have to follow following step.
------------------------- Command to install library for amp--------------------------------------------
composer require lullabot/amp
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
step 3:- To see whether the amp library installed or not then you can find one file called composer.json on root directory of drupal 8 and once you open this file you can see the path of lullabot/amp.Once you see the path in composer.json file then it means your amp library is installed.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Step 4:- if you want to install amp module then you have to go modules directory in drupal 8 and then follow following step.
------------------------- Command to install for amp module--------------------------------------------
composer require drupal/amp

wnymathguy commentedThanks panchaldhruv29 for that reply because I was having the
"The AMP module requires the PHP AMP library. (Currently using AMP version Not available)"
error message too.
I'm building a Drupal Commerce 8.x site. I haven't done much to it that isn't in the Commerce Guy's instructions. The instructions on Lullabot, and Drupal's AMP pages were vague to me. Your "composer require lullabot/amp" was my missing link! I had used git clone to receive the library, and I also "composer install"ed the library, and the AMP themes, and the AMP modules, but I couldnt' finish the making it work part till tonight.
Thanks for your post.
My secret public diary of the install is at https://sites.google.com/view/ubuntuserver16-04/installing-drupal-8 under the "10/10/2017 Update about installing a Drupal 8 site with Drupal Commerce:" subheading. If anybody notices I wrote something stupid there, I'd love to hear about it and change my mistakes.

Now just enable the amp-module for your Drupal site and use this amazing module to improve your site ranking.
