I am glad that there is interest in a D7 port of this module :)

I plan on doing a full rewrite of Alfresco module on D7 using Entity API and CMIS standard. However, I don't have time for this task now, but I will try to work on a D7 port this summer (July-August 2011). I planned to write a roadmap for Alfresco 2.x which I will publish when ready (but for now only in Spanish).

We would be very interested in a version 7 for the Alfresco module. We are currently considering which intranet platform to use with Alfresco.

The Alfresco module for Drupal is a very desirable option provided it continues evolving.
