Agreement allows the administrator to present text-based agreements (think "Terms of Service") to users based on page visibility and user role (including anonymous users). It supports multiple agreements and agreement expiration (e.g. yearly agreements).

The default agreement is presented to users immediately after login, and must be accepted before the user can navigate to another page. Users will still be able to access the homepage (<front>), /user/register, /user/logout, /user/reset, /admin/config/people/agreement without accepting the agreement; all other pages will redirect the user to the agreement acceptance form. Users may also revoke their acceptance to the agreement by visiting the agreement page.

The following options are configurable from the module's settings page:

  • User role(s) to which the agreement is restricted
  • The agreement page title
  • The agreement text
  • The agreement page URL
  • Page visibility to allow an agreement to restrict all pages or only some pages
  • The success & failure messages presented to the user
  • The checkbox & submit button texts

There are modules (Terms of Use and Legal) which provide similar functionality during registration. The Agreement module provides the functionality to show an agreement to an existing user base, without requiring the users to re-register, and
