Follow-up discussion from #3609244: Replace deprecated Stable9 Base theme (with a Bootstrap Base Theme).
For 1.x using bootstrap5 as glue between Drupal and AdminLTE is very helpful and saves us a lot of duplicate and ongoing work!
In the (far?) future we should check, if this was a good idea to outsource all this boilerplate work to bootstrap5 as base theme or if we should better use the idea of generating a standalone theme and copy over all the templates etc.
Maybe we'll come to the conclusion that bootstrap5 is a great base theme here and it was a great idea - then let's close this.
If not, let's discuss how to decouple in 2.x
