I get an Internal Server Error when trying to enble the module:
"HTTP Error 500 (Internal Server Error): An unexpected condition was encountered while the server was attempting to fulfill the request."

Drupal: 7.19,
Administration menu: 7.x-3.0-rc3,
Administration Menu select: 7.x-1.3

This is not reproducable.

This module actually does not do anything when installing so the 500 error you received would be relating to something else about your drupal or server configuration, for example maybe your server ran out of memory.

This is definitely unrelated to this module and is very hard to help with unless you have more information, like maybe php errors from the apache error log.

If you can provide more info reopen and I can try to help you out but I assume you have got around this issue by now.
