I tried to wipe and rebuild, but no luck.

Also, when looking at the top-level links in your menu, there are some odd entries that do not belong in there, such as "Flush all caches" or "Run updates".

Most likely, you have been bitten by the Drupal core bugs that are mentioned on http://drupal.org/project/admin_menu
