so, i love the administration menu. it's reallly helpful.

but, randomly, and i have NO idea what i did other than restarting my computer, today the font size changed on my admin section pages to a size so small it's unreadable.

essentially, i have my custom theme i built for all of the front end pages (section), and then garland as everything else. and the admin menu is ONLY readable on the custom theme.

thoughts?

check the text size that is set in the browser.

altering this doesn't change it.

again, the only time this is large enough to read is when i'm on any of my published content pages. anything admin, such as site building>views or even createcontent it is too small.

You may have had a minimum font size enforced by either Firefox (default 11px) or something else like say Web Developer Toolbar and then uninstalled whatever was enforcing it, or somehow nixed the enforcement. I only mention this as I've been developing a website and could not get the text size to change only on my computer and realized just yesterday that my instance of Firefox was doing that.

So you might check that and edit your Garland font size to match your other theme, as this enforcement is client-side only of course, and anyway others have complained about the small default text size of admin_menu as well.

Apparently, another possible cause for this could be font smoothing. I'm not entirely sure whether the font size isn't the same on both screenshots. Font smoothing can render a font quite differently.

Either way, this issue cannot be solved here. Check your browser settings as well as system settings.
