The option to rebuild the menu is gone in D7 yet my admin menu displays menus in the wrong place. I have the menu item "Add new view" at the top of the 'Structure' section instead of under the menu item 'Views'

tom.camp commentedSame issue here. I'm not sure why it happened, but I came in today and the menu was hosed and clearing the Administration Menu cache does nothing. This is very frustrating.

vip_sa commentedIs anything going to be done about this? I mean is this issue still getting attention. It would really help if we can sort this issue out cause some things are just not there also

bradallenfisher commentedSame Issue. For me it happened after disabling and re-enabling developer modules. Now my Views add, import views, and settings links are on top level as well as the context setting link.
I have fixed this before by going into the menu router table and changing the parents but man was it a pita. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

bradallenfisher commentedI fixed my issue this time by disabling views ui and context ui, flushing the caches twice and then re-enabling them.
Edit: You don't need to uninstall the UI's just disable them, flush caches, then re-enable.
