Block doesn't show when AddressField referenced by Entity Reference field

Is this something that can be addressed or patched? I am having the same issue and and I am looking for solutions.

Works for me - starting with a fresh installation, I added an address field to the Article node type and selected Rendered Entity as the default display. I then added an entity reference field to the Article node type, picking Rendered entity as the formatter. I got a Google Maps API key from Google and entered that at /admin/config/system/addressfield_staticmap, as well as picking my address field in the select at the top of the page. There may well have been some extra steps (I'm typing from memory) but I think those are the important ones.

If you still can't get it to work, please provide details steps, starting with a fresh install. If I can reliably reproduce the issue, I should be able to fix it.

What type of Google Maps API key did you get?

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you. It was a Google Maps JavaScript API key.
