AT Subtheme

Yes, not really sure what is going on there - something certainly going wrong with your installation.

If you have admin menu installed or can navigate to the Performance Settings (admin/settings/performance) page try clearing all caches or just the theme registry (you can do that with the Admin Menu module) - that might get things working as per normal, otherwise...

Go into the database and clear all the caches manually, then go to the variables table and set the default theme back to Garland - that should do it. If you're not familiar with databases you can use something like phpMyAdmin - if you need help with these tasks just search this site for them, loads of people ask about these things all the time.

I'm not sure if I should put this as a new issue or the same issue, let me know either way. I did have the same problem as james and I realized that I had changed the theme-settings.php file. Once I changed this back everything appeared to be fine until I click on the configure button on the themes list page for the default theme. I'm now getting the error;
warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, 'brightstar_system_settings_form' was given in /home/../public_html/includes/theme.inc on line 656.

This happens with two subthemes I created using the core theme. I don't have the same issues when making a subtheme with the adaptive_subtheme but I wanted the gpanels and panels support.

Am I doing something wrong ?

tigron - tell me exactly which files you have edited, also, if possible, can you attach your theme here so I can install and debug it.

I take you have have not edited the main theme at all?

Jeff - thanks. I haven't made any changes to the main theme. Would It be a good idea to overwrite that directory just to be sure ? I've attached one of the subthemes. I changed template.php and the .info and added a theme.css w/ theme folder in the css dir. I don't recall making any other changes.

I think this is because you are using PHP 5.3.

if this is the case, you may downgrade php, switch servers or suppress errors.

I use PHP 5.3 on Ubuntu 10 and it seems to be working just fine. That said, PHP 5.2 is the version you should probably use.

I haven't upgraded to 5.3 as of yet. I'm running 5.2.14.

Don't know if this is cause of your problem.

I've discovered that if you have a module and adaptative subtheme having the same name and you define theme functions in the module, adptative theme crashes.

Quick fix is to give a different name to the subtheme.

Perhaps just delete your subtheme and start again?

Tried that, I've also created additional subthemes with different names to also avoid a module with the same name. Again, for some reason this only happens with the core AT theme. I don't have this problem when working with the AT subthemes and making a subtheme from them.
