First content cannot be removed from frontpage.

In a subtheme created with the AT Tools Generator, the first content that was created cannot be removed from the homepage. I have hidden all text so there is only a white box occupying space. But when I delete this box or the content, the page cannot be found any more.

Use the "create content" link on the initial page. Once the content is created it will be displayed on the home page. Then try to remove the content from the homepage.
