I overrode the max width for few regions....
for eample header set to 70 %, footer set to 50 % etc
everything looks fine but in mobile view, it looks horrible.....in mobile view it should stay 100% all the time....cause the width of the screen is not wide enought to display some section as 50 % width....

So you need to hand code in css?
with @media?
Wha is the exact break point of mobile phone view?

Yes, You have to write media queries for that.

Generally 767px is mobile break point for both landscape & portrait.

For mobile we have to write media query css .
Breakpoint for mobile usually we use is 768px which include both landscape and portrait.
