In AT of D6, we have a section classes added to Body element that based on path alias. I wish AT D7 can bring back this feature as well.

In the theme settings under Development > CSS, there is an option to add more page classes which include page and section type classes based on the template suggestion - Drupal 7 actually generates these itself and the toggle setting just turns them on and off. Play around with it and see if it gives you want you need. I should probably take a closer look at this because section-classes are very useful.
