Ads won't display

What method are you using to display advertisements? A default block? A call to ad()? Some other method? The debug output is showing that there are no active advertisements in the group with a tid of 1. Be sure that if you have advertisements in that group they are 'active'.

I am having the same issue. Here is my debug report. I have 2 active ads in the tid 8

seems to be only an issue with the channels, as soon as I remove all the channels, they seem to work fine.

I installed this just fine on one site turned around on another site and it will not show any ads, text or images. Im not sure how to debug. this is my url but it comes back as an unfound page. Please give some advice on how to debug.

I am installing this on a multi installation where my site is at example.com inside the sites folder. I get these errors.

I did a fresh install with only the Admin Menu installed and I am getting these errors:

Now the ad is showing as long as it is not in a multi install.

Why would it not work in an multi site installation?

I"m experiencing the same thing on a fresh single site install, I do have a few other modules installed like cck, views, album photo, calendar, date, captcha..

When I run update.php it doesn't seem to add anything new to the database, and I get this error afterwords

Removing the "Ad Channel" module gets rid of the errors, but then I can't set up any channels of course

Either enable the Devel module and navigate to /devel/php or just enable the php input filter and preview a node (you don't have to save it) containing this;

That's because your issue (which happens to be the original issue) is completely separate from the above issues which are missing tables. Your issue is probably that you're not displaying ads correctly as there's no mention of ad groups (tids) in your debug? How are you trying to display? A block or manually?

Yes, it is for the original issue. I did not understand it had gotten off-topic, sorry.

I am using blocks. I have groups set up, with each group going to a block. It worked fine at first, then I added some channels. Now I can't get anything new to display at ALL, regardless of whether it's in a channel or not. The two old ads still work in their own blocks, and I'm afraid to touch them.

Heh, *you* don't need to apologise for going off topic - everybody else does! Well, for whatever reason your tids aren't coming through into the display function. Does everything return to normal when you disable the ad_channels module?

When you 'view source' your web page to find the ad/serve.php URL, the URL should include include at the end something like ?q=#&t=#.

Disabling the Ad Channel module does cause the ads to start showing up properly, at least in my default block. Unfortunately, the channel ability is what I needed! Well, I'll be patient. :)

I'm attaching two debug texts again (with the &'s done correctly, I hope). DebugText1 is with Ad Channel enabled, so the ad is not displaying. DebugText2 is with Ad Channel disabled, so the ad IS displaying correctly. I didn't know if that would help or not to have a comparison. The change to display is not immediate with enabling or disabling the Ad Channel module; I'm going into the ad and editing/re-saving to simulate adding a new ad under those conditions.

Your DebugText1 shows that the ad module display an ad correctly (see the last line of your debug). It displayed ad 75. The ad has no channel information, so whether or not ad_channel is enabled it should display fine.
