I am wondering if there is any way to prevent this from happening. Here is the situation. There are multiple blocks on the same page with ad groups defined. Some ads are located in more than one group. What I want to do is prevent the ad from displaying in more than one block. So if the ads appears in one (say top of the page), I want to disallow it from being displayed in the other block (say bottom). Can someone please lead me in the right direction with this?

Is there another ad module that may allow this? Or even yet a module that is not an ad module that may serve this function.

There is no code to do this, but there is an issue somewhere in this queue discussing it. I will mark this as duplicate when I stumble into the other issue again.

thaiorbust, no such luck yet. Trying to solve it with a changed business process, but obviously that is not what I was looking for.
