Hello,
I'm looking for a solution very similar to Node Import which takes data and stores it into nodes. But I need to be able to do this automatically rather than manually. So I can specify the field matches once, and then it can take an RSS/XML/FTP data feed and physically import the data (including pictures) into my Custom CCK Content Type.

For anyone who knows the Real Estate industry, I need to take an MLS feed and import the properties into my site for others to view.

As for the exporting, I need to be able to export my CCK fields to an RSS/XML feed which complies with both the google base and the lycos requirements.

I will pay good money and also make this project available to the drupal community. So if anyone can help, please contact me and also give me a price estimate and time estimate.

Thanks!

Did you get anywhere with this request? There are some others interested in it too (or at least were last year), and it'd be great functionality to have.

It would be a boon to be able to do this. I have some weather data I would like to import from some xml-streams.

feedapi and feedapi_mapper are going in this direction, I'm trying to do something similar. The export however... I'll report back if I find a solution.
