How about an overall "Traffic light" status , showing the overall installation status (see attachment), eg.

  • Red: 48% No upgrades found
  • Amber: 30%: Upgrades in development
  • Green: 22% Upgrades available (or in core)

It would also make a nice optional block with "Check upgrade" status button.

Triaging all Drupal 6 Upgrade Status issues. As Drupal 6 is no longer supported by this module and a similar type of progress indication is already in the Drupal 8 version, closing this.
