I was wondering if it is possible to update the content shown in a ddblock dynamically using links that active certain filters?

All content for the slideshow is loaded when the slideshow is initialized.
Content will only refresh when the slideshow is loaded again.

Can you explain more what you want to accomplish and what you mean with: using links that active certain filters

I have a DDB that is displaying 10 images and would like to create links to nodes or taxonomy terms that will update the content of the view, clearing the 10 images and loading new ones according to the criteria.

I.e

A DDB showcasing 10 different ford cars

and underneath a series of links to individual cars, i.e "Ford mustang" would display a series of images only of the Mustang.

Would you know if this is possible?

This is not possible with the module.
If someone has ideas how this can be accomplished, please let me know.
