node reference displays object ids not node types

If you define a nodereference field type (using latest version of CCK and CVS version of Drupal) you will see a section called "Content types that can be referenced:" - this section shows things like "Object id #5" instead of something like "page" or "blog entry". That is what should be there right? If not seems like a usability issue.
