I added an additional field to the slideshow-content-type with YES/NO so that only nodes with YES displays in the frontpage, rest are listed on a Views page.

But when I use the filter YES, the slideshow image, text and the pager items are not displayed!!

Any idea, please!

This should work fine.

Do you see the nodes in the views preview when the filter is added?
