This is great, thanks! Preventing collisions is a massive feature.

Can you add support for roles? I'd like long-term checkouts to only be available for admin/moderator accounts.

That's not a bad idea - I'll see what I can do in the future though I can't guarantee it will be very fast as I am currently up to my eyes in converting trip_search to 4.7. Also, I'm afraid it's highly unlikely that I'll include the new feature in 4.6

Thanks for the reply. I look forward to coming back to checkout when it features roles support.

I'm not using 4.6 on any of my installations, so that's no biggie.
