Please disable the module, then uninstall it, then delete it from your modules directory. Then, download the 4.0-rc3 version and try installing that.

If the same error persists, please re-open this ticket. :)

Got the same error - going to try to uninstall and reinstall but I doubt that will change much. I'm installing for one individual site on a multi-site configuration.

$ sudo ln -s ../video_formatter.inc video_formatter.inc

Try clearing cache and see if problem happens. Does that help? I've had no such problem with this version. And i've installed on 3 servers this week.

Are you using the latest version of video, I didn't see any issue with the my module, I check the code and all, but didn't see any issue.

Yes I use Video 6.x-4.0-rc6. I tried with 3 other versions but the problem is the same.

The problem comes from video.module file.

Line 155 : $path = drupal_get_path('module', 'video'). '/theme';
Try to modifie it to
$path = drupal_get_path('module', 'video');

Try this instead:

let me know if this is the issue with this. Clear you theme registry after you do this.

#13 worked for me, and so far I've managed to fix #14 by copying tpl's from sites\all\modules\video\theme to sites\all\modules\video. Not the neatest solution, but it works so far (keeping my fingers crossed). Thanks.

@heshan.lk - i just installed the "latest release" on a site and get the same problem. The latest release as of right now is 6.x-4.1-rc4, correct? The problem is definitely not fixed in that version.

I have just tried the latest dev version: 6.x-4.x-dev and also 6.x-4.1-rc4 and both give me the same error. I have tried clearing the cache, copying the tpl files into my current themes directory and moving video_formatter.inc to the modules/video/theme folder - and I still get the error message.

Asking someone to use CVS to fix such a simple problem? Did you actually leave such a bug in your release files? Wow you should be embarrassed to pull off a feat such as this. And from what I see, this problem STILL exists in both the dev release and the stable release. Pathetic. You cannot possibly expect someone like a themer person to know how to use CVS. If it were a "new feature" then yes, using CVS is the correct method. But to fix a critical "bug"? Erm, no, bad idea.
