Latest dev, newsletter sign up block, permissions for anon, users to subscribe = set. Sign up for newsletter, get confirmation message but no email.

Is this normal behavior?

I see a place in /admin/settings/simplenews/subscription to set the title and text of the confirmation email.

I should add that we are using Mime Mail and the message I get after clicking subscribe is "You have been subscribed."

Okay, everything works as it should. I had "single" checked for opt-in method and not double, I guess I just expected it to send a confirmation email anyways. Similar to this issue http://drupal.org/node/761170

Anyways, it's all good and I will close this.
