Important: Some class names have been changed since the last release. Many efforts have been made to ensure backwards compatibility with existing APIs but if you are using the APIs in any custom code it's highly recommended that you reference the related change record for more details.
Deprecated soap api and upgraded to REST api. Removed some admin fieldsets and added a screen for mapping Crowd groups to Drupal Roles. Removed dependency on the Atlassian Crowd Pear package. Requires php 5.3. Only tested with Crowd 2.3.3
#760372: Automatic Log Off - Configuration option added for automatic logout of the user from Drupal if the SSO auth cookie has been deleted. Configuration option also added for validating the SSO auth token against Crowd on every page request.
This release of the Crowd module provides tighter integration with LDAP (via the LDAP Integration and LDAP Provisioning modules) so that LDAP attributes and groups are updated upon authentication.
This is the first alpha on the road to a stable release. In this release:
Added support for writing the SSO cookie upon successful authentication in Drupal to preserve SSO functionality with other Crowd-enabled applications on the domain
Added new configuration option for choosing whether the SSO cookie is secure or non-secure
Fixed a bug where the SSO cookie was not being expired when a user logged out of Drupal
