First off, thanks for this great addition to Drupal. By enabling the easy use of Drupal for any type of simple online database application, flexinode greatly extends the reach of Drupal's powerful features. I foresee using flexinode extensively to enable non-profit organizations to use Drupal for their own data needs--highlighting projects and sites, tracking corporate data, etc.

Enhancement request: to enable the customization of the two base fields from the "story" node type ("title" and "description"). While they are applicable in many cases, there are some instances in which one might like to customize both the field names and their descriptions/help text. For example, if using flexinode for a database of organizations, one would like to rename the "title" to "name".

Title: Allow customization of "title" and "description" fields » Allow customization of "Title" field

Partially addressed in HEAD; the "description" field is deprecated, and may be renamed or entirely removed. "Title" is still required at the moment. Renaming the issue to reflect the new status.

Thanks for the improvement with the description field. The title field is more difficult as it is hard-coded into the node.module. An initial take on how to enable customization of the "title" field (for all node types) is at http://drupal.org/node/view/10056.
