Hello,

I have problems with authentication to retrieve the datas of LDAP users. I could not figure out the problem it is knowing that when I connect with an LDAP user it works.

User load: user myuser's data could not be read in the LDAP directory
and
LDAP Bind failure for user myuser. Error 34: Invalid DN syntax

Hi pcsystemd, it may be late, I think you may have resolved already your ldap configuration, but it may help somebody else this. I have had problems with Ldap data as you. My problem was i could authenticated with ldap, but not syncronize profile fields with the ldap-data. I got this error : "LDAP Bind failure for user USER. Error 34: Invalid DN syntax". This was solved putting the full string conection in the option Advance Configuration" -- "/admin/settings/ldap/ldapdata" -> "/admin/settings/ldap/ldapdata/edit/1". Attached image.

Yes, ldap dn's can be long and typo prone... double check everything.
