This release of Ooyala module fixes several small bugs in the module.

As we had no critical or major issues in beta7 and have been stable for quite some time, this release also drops the "beta" moniker and is the first official release.

Changes since 7.x-2.0-beta7:

Lots of bug fixes and a few new features in this version of the Ooyala module. This release adds features specifically intended to be used with the new Ooyala discovery recommendations engine. Combining meta-data tagging, permalink support, and multiple players on the same site, the Ooyala module can now effectively utilize the recommendation engine to display similar videos after a video has finished playing.

New features

This release of Ooyala module fixes a few major issues, specifically compatibility with jQuery 1.7, and several issues with the Taxonomy Sync module. Upgrading is recommended for all users.

Bug fixes:

This version of the Ooyala module for Drupal 6 removes the dependency on the obsolete "Services" module. If you were using the Services module on your site exclusively for the Ooyala module, you may disable and remove it after installing this update.

Changes since 6.x-2.0-beta3:

This is the initial release of the Ooyala 2.0 branch for Drupal 6. It includes several important changes that keep the Ooyala module compatible with Ooyala's changing APIs, including:

The first beta release of the new Ooyala module supporting the V2 API. Notable changes include:

• Migration of ooyala.api.inc to use the new V2 API, removing all dependencies on the V1 API.
• Integration of the Ooyala Web Uploader to upload assets to Ooyala.
• PHP 5.3 is now required.
• Uploading is now refactored into it's own module, leading to a lighter codebase for sites using Ooyala as an API only.

Development release of the Ooyala module to work with the Ooyala V2 API.

Initial port of Ooyala to Drupal 7.

Highlights of the 6.x-1.0-beta5 release:

• A new Ooyala Channels module. This module allows a content type to be associated with an Ooyala channel. Channel titles, descriptions, lineup, and thumbnails can all be set. The Ooyala Channel API is now exposed for use by other modules.
• The ability to select a thumbnail for an Ooyala video from the thumbnails that Ooyala automatically generates.
• Two important bug fixes with setting up the video field for new content types and syncing hierarchical terms and Ooyala labels.

Changes since 6.x-1.0-beta4:

This release of Ooyala module makes bug fixes throughout the module, especially in the areas of the Taxonomy syncing functionality and use of the Ooyala Markers module with shared fields between content types. Upgrading is recommended for all Ooyala module users.

Initial Beta of the Ooyala module. This release is fairly stable and is in use on a few sites already, being used pretty successfully. We have many more features planned so wanted to tag the working version for now.
