Upgrading to php-5.3 renders mobile_tools unusable with barking like these:

Deprecated: Function eregi() is deprecated in /path/to/drupal/sites/all/modules/mobile_tools/mobile_tools.module on line 633

Changing eregi() calls to stripos() ones renders mobile_tools usable again - which is what the attached patch does.

I am currently refactoring the module because of the number of outstanding issues.

I think it's fine now, isn't it ? The only problem I had with PHP 5.3 is the one in #985040: PHP 5.3 compatibility ? Every browser is detected as a mobile browser. And I can see in the code that the patch from this issue has been integrated.
