My host has html tidy installed in /usr/bin/tidy. Perhaps I'm missing a step, but can't get any further than this.

mgiffordI ran into this same problem running the cvs of the module. Then I pulled down the release and got a whole new error
[client 0.0.0.0] PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function htmltidy_test() in /home/dm7/modules/htmltidy/htmltidy.module on line 334, referer: http://www.openconcept.ca/admin/settings/image
Not sure what that's about, but wanted to add in that this is an issue for more than one person.

dman CreditAttribution: dman commentedFor the OP - if your host has tidy already (cool) you then visit the htmltidy settings admin/settings/htmltidy to confirm it - tidy will run a test to see if it runs OK.
Other settings are configured on that page.
What in the admin/help/htmltidy help pages got you stuck?
To the second, I think you may have got a partial checkout?
htmltidy_test is provided by the 'install_htmltidy.inc' that should have been included.
What version of what were you running to get this?

chook CreditAttribution: chook commentedI just tried it with 4.7 rc1 and the 4.7 version of html tidy and I still got an error. But then I tried the cvs version and it seems to work fine now.
Thanks for your help!

dman CreditAttribution: dman commentedThe zip bundles happen in a batch process (overnight I guess) so you won't get fixes less than a day old unless you CVS. That's probably the reason.
You can also grab the files by hand from http://cvs.drupal.org/viewcvs/drupal/contributions/modules/htmltidy/
