Come together with the global Drupal community in Rotterdam, 28 Sept – 1 Oct 2026. Sessions, contribution, connection, and Early Bird savings until 8 June.Steps to reproduce:
1. Create Role1. The Filtered format is enabled for this role as it's site default.
2. Visit the better formats page and try to set Filtered format for nodes for Role1.
Expected:
Filtered format became default for the role.
Actual result:
Error message appears "This format isn't allowed for Role1".
The work-around of this bug is to place "Site default" format for the Role1, but it's not actually what should be done. I made a patch, which fixes this odd behaviour. Please, review.

dragonwize commentedThe workaround solution is to select "Site default" instead of the specific format. The real fix will come in a later release.
