There hasn't been any cvs commit in CCK Fieldgroup module since Oct 1, 2008. Quicktabs is another great module for tab display, but it currently lacks support for cck fieldgroup. I'm sure many of you already using quicktabs. Maintainer of Quicktab says he will consider merging the two related module in long run. Can we all help him do that?

It's a good discussion to open. Currently cck_fieldgroup_tabs depends on tabs module. I've opened this issue on quicktabs to look at integrating APIs: #553070: Merge with tabs module for D7?. Marking this issue as postponed while we look at that one.
