Accessibility using wysiwyg api [#475802]

I am with a problem using the wysiwyg api and I wrote in this likn below about this.

Firstly, I am sure for my English that it is not very well.

Good, I am blind person and I used the tinymce editor. But it does not worked more together with imce stopen of send image for server.

I am trying to use o wysiwyg, but the wysig has your active diferent of tinymce. When I changed of filtered to ful, editing a content, the wysiwyg does not active.

The persons without deficience achieve to say the editor, but the screan reader does not detect.

My suggestion is that use the same control of the tinymce, for roles. If roleis active with wysiwyg, the editor is displayed, if not, not displayed.

Case is not possible, how can I to do to use the wysiwyg editor with my screan reader?

Friends,

I found the better_formats module that it makes what I needed. It select the filter editor for rules.

Now, when I creat a new content, the filter already is choose the full, where is configured o wysiwyg.

But, o wysiwyg is not detected for my screen reader yet.

I think I go to need to continue with o tinymce and to descovery like to solve the problem of the integration betuin the tinymce and imce.

Anybody has some solution?

What do you mean with the "o" in "o wysiwyg" and "o tinymce"?

If I understand you correctly, Wysiwyg API works for you with TinyMCE as long as IMCE (including the IMCE Wysiwyg API bridge module) is not installed/enabled. Is that correct?

I mean with "o", equals "the". I not translated.

The IMCE Wysiwyg API bridge is installing and is enabled too.

If I set wysiwyg for all filters (full and filtered editor), the wysiwyg achieves be detected for my screan reader.

Any suggestion?

Hm. We fixed this bug some time ago. Are you sure you are using the latest versions of all modules involved?

I am sure I am using stable modules.

Wysiwyg 6.x-1.2 with tinymce 3.2.2.3;
Imce 6.x-1.2;
drupal 6.12.

Using with:
Ms Windows XP;
IE 7;
Jaws 9.

Are you sure this bug already was fixed?

Do you want an username in my site to ascertain?

Wysiwyg 6.x-1.2 is not the latest version. 6.x-2.0-alpha1 is the latest.

However, I am not sure whether that release already contains the aforementioned fix, so you might want to test with 2.x-dev as well. Note upfront though: In Wysiwyg 2.x-dev, all editor libraries have been moved to sites/all/libraries, i.e. they are no longer located below the module's directory (to make updating the module easier).

Unfortunately, it don't works.

The option: "allow to users to choice default" isn't checked, but still is displaying the option choice.

I tested the wysiwyg configuring in both the filter: filtered and full. However, I also achieved to see.

I go to execute my page with the screan reader off. I want to know if it works without the screan reader.

Well, yes, I have difficulties to understand what your actual issue is.

The option: "allow to users to choice default" isn't checked, but still is displaying the option choice.

That is a known bug. This per-user option makes no sense at all and we are considering to completely replace it: #322433: Replace default editor status option(s) with intelligent logic

The problem is that I, blind person, don't achieve to use the wysiwyg api.

When I open a new post, the bottons of the wysiwyg/tinymce is not displayed for me.

I don't know how to do to see this editor.

Ok, Sun, I think I descoveried what is giving problem.

With the help of a friend, I descoveried that, when I change of filtered to full,, where is the wysiwyg configured, the testarea changes, but the bottons bar of the tinymce is not displayed.

So, the wysiwyg changes the testarea, calling the tinymce, but the tinymce is not executed.

I remember that I am using wysiwyg lateste version (2.x-2.dev) and tinymce too (3.2.3.1.

I believe that the problem can be in the tinymce editor.

How can I solve this?

Please try again with the latest development snapshot that should be built today and make sure you remove your wysiwyg profiles and configure them from scratch.
