Attached is a patch for editors/tinymce.inc which will allow you to enable the Spellchecker plugin for TinyMCE.

You'll have to download the spellchecker plugin and install it to sites/all/libraries/tinymce/jscripts/tiny_mce/plugins/spellchecker

Marking as duplicate of #287321: Add wysiwyg_external_plugins module. Please search for existing issues before submitting a new one. You can follow up on that issue to track its status instead. If any information from this issue is missing in the other issue, please make sure you provide it over there.

Thanks for telling me to search for the issue first, especially since searching always returns exactly what you are looking for the first time every time and there is NEVER any possibility that one would not find what he is searching for. I have never used a search function before, but since you were so gracious to point it out, I think I now have the courage to try it, so thanks for the advice -- you are a truly knowledgeable person and we are all blessed to have your advice. Perhaps just marking as a duplicate is all you need to do -- we aren't all idiots and deserve the benefit of the doubt.
