I'm not sure what exactly the problem is but I'm returned error 500 (Internal Server Error) when non-admins try to access some pages and try to submit pages.

It seems to only by pages that has a problem and not the other submission modules.

I can access the pages and submit with no problems providing i am logged in as admin.

I've tried emptying the cache, sessions and history but doesn't fix it. I've also tried restoring the MySQL database 1 and 2 days back.

In the admin log (Watchdog) I get "node/46 not found." about 100 times, per Internal Server Error page view.

Any ideas?

It was taxonomy access module.

Somehow, it stopped default configuring access to Guests and Members.

I run a 4.7 site, and am generally v.happy with Drupal and all the cool modules.

However, the "500: Internal Server Error" was driving me nuts. Of course, I hadn't made site or db back-ups prior to module installation. I had installed numerous modules, so had to back-out each one in turn.

Eventually found FLEXIBLOCK (even though it's 4.7 codebase) incompatibility issues with my other installed modules -- too numerous to mention.
