When the input format is changed, the editor will not change with it.

This means if the editor is enabled on one format that is not the default format (Often occuring seeing as using nicedit means full HTML use) it is impossible to use it.

It also means that the other way round, switching from default with editor to a non-editor filter such as php mode, will also end with no change, making the entire module... broken...

I believe this is an issue with the API itsself as there is no javascript event for when the buttons are pressed.

(Tested on 5.x with nicedit 0.9, default version, no extras)

I tested what you explained, but I cannot replicate your issue. The editor properly switches with input formats, respects enable/disable state, etc. like any other editor.

Some info (Might help)

Running on IIS (Badly, but hopefully its temporary)
CCK (Enabled but even on content types without fields it doesn't work)
Jstools (Only jstools and calendar activated)
Bbcode (But not enabled on input type which has editor)
jQuery update 2.0
Wysiwyg 1.1
NicEdit 0.9
Zen (Not sure which version, downloaded approx 3 months ago)

Also, ecommerce and quicktags are available but disabled...

I bet if you disable JSTools, it will work.

nope its still not working :/

But i know its a problem with switching formats, because setting it to full HTML (with the editor) saving, and editting again gives me the editor, and then I can't switch back to non-editor...

http://uploading.com/files/5K2ALVQO/modules.html.html
Html page with complete module list and on/off status, I can't think of what's wrong...

I disabled everything under the jstools heading before I tested it and still the same results...

My only thought is a possible conflict of modules... But which ones?

I will shut off all my modules and see if it works, then turn them on one at a time, to find out where the issue is...

after shutting down everything but the core modules (Which I coulden't shut down) nothing happened... Its got to be something with drupal, wysiwyg, nicedit, or IIS...

Edit: Omg im an idiot, of course nothing happened, I shut off wysiwyg too xD
Edit2: Nope, after turning that on as well, same conclusion, must be something with the module :S

My sincerest apologies, I was getting a constant request to check out the site report before I installed this module, and didn't notice I was supposed to copy the jQuery.js file to its new location.

Perhaps add it to the FAQ?

Once again, sorry -_-
