Thank you for creating this excellent module.

I would like to request the ability to specify the number of rows and columns via the Drupal administrative interface. Currently, these values are hard-coded in product.module.

You can already do this, not so much as a setting in the administrative page, but you can actually re-theme this page exactly the way you want using the theme('product_view_collection');

At the top of the product.module look for theme_product_view_collection() and you can put this into your theme and display it the way you want.
