The example on the Views Slideshow page shows both a full size image slideshow in combination with a thumbnail grid.
How do I get both together in one view?

Okay, I figured it out more or less. I just needed to add a field that shows the thumbnail. I was using the Image module, but this was not giving me a field that would show the thumbnail. Turned on Image_Attach (which forced me to create a new node type) and then I could select a field showing a thumbnail.

it does need theming for better looking such as this http://ddblock.myalbums.biz/node/336. this one use dynamic block instead, but still using views
