Per the instructions, I clicked and dragged my admin roles to the top and put my anonymous and authenticated users at the bottom. However, when I click "Save defaults" my changes are not saved, and it reverts to the default settings.

I have tried this in several browsers in Mac OS X (Firefox 3, Safari, Camino) all with the same result.

Unfortunately, this is a huge problem, because any user with a unique role will default to the input filter for an authenticated user, thus making this module useless.

I am not able to confirm this.

Better formats uses the same Drupal drag and drop system as the blocks and menu system. Do those systems work for you?

Confirmed, I am having this problem elsewhere in my Drupal installation, such as the blocks section. Closing.
